Our prediction for this MLS match:
A place in the Eastern Conference play-offs semis will be at stake when DC United and Columbus Crew face each other at Audi Field on Friday. DC United have been producing thrilling displays in MLS ever since Wayne Rooney joined the club, but they do not want to stop now. The capital club are undefeated in previous 11 league games and they must be high on confidence ahead of the visit of Columbus. The Crew, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs of late, but a win over Minnesota United on the last day of the regular season certainly gave fans some cheer. Anyhow, DC United have been in a much better form of late than Columbus Crew and that is the main reason why we predict the hosts will emerge triumphant in Friday’s football game.
Highlighted Player (Wayne Rooney):

Over the years Wayne Rooney has established himself as one of the best English players. “Wazza” was born on 24 October, 1985 and he has played for only two clubs in his senior career. He began his football career at Everton and he scored 15 goals in 67 appearances for the Goodison Park outfit.
In 2004 Rooney signed a £25-million-worth deal with Manchester United and he has been playing for the Red Devils ever since. The England attacker won the Champions League trophy with Man Utd in 2008, with the Old Trafford outfit defeating Chelsea on penalties in the title game. The Manchester United attacker has won five Premier League trophies with the English giants (2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009, 2010/2011, 2012/2013), while lifting FA Cup title in the 2015/2016 season.
Nonetheless, Rooney, has yet to win a trophy with England national team. The 30-year-old ace failed to impress at the Euro 2016 final as he scored no more than one goal (penalty) at the showpiece tournament in France.
Highlighted Team (Columbus Crew):

Columbus Crew are an American soccer club based in Columbus, Ohio. The Black & Gold participate in the Eastern Conference and in 2008 they won both the conference and the MLS CUP final. Columbus Crew defeated New York Red Bulls in the MLS Cup final, with the likes of Moreno, Marshall and Hejduk scoring for the Black & Gold in the title game.
The club welcome their rivals at Mapfre Stadium, the venue which was opened on May, 15 1999. The current capacity of the stadium is 19.968 and it has to be noted that Mapfre Stadium is the first soccer-specific venue ever built for a MLS club.
A number of high-profile players were part of Columbus Crew in the past, but Guillermo Barros Schelotto is the most famous footballer that wore the black and yellow shirt. Schelotto played for Columbus Crew from 2007 to 2010 and during his spell with the Mapfre Stadium outfit the Black & Gold won the aforementioned MLS Cup.
