Our prediction for this MLS match:
Audi Field will host Thursday’s football match between DC United and New York Red Bulls. DC United aim to bounce back from a 3-1 loss to Atlanta United, whereas New York Red Bulls want to build on back-to-back wins over Sporting Kansas City and New England. Bradley Wright-Phillips just can’t stop scoring and the experienced attacker is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders. Speaking of DC United, the capital club failed to spoils Atlanta United’s party at Mercedes-Benz Stadium at the weekend, with the team remaining in 11th position in the Eastern Conference. DC United are having yet another season to forget and given New York Red Bulls’ current form, we are tempted to put our money on the visitors. In their last meeting in MLS the Metros defeated the capital club 2-1 and we predict the history is going to repeat itself.
Highlighted Player (Wayne Rooney):

Over the years Wayne Rooney has established himself as one of the best English players. “Wazza” was born on 24 October, 1985 and he has played for only two clubs in his senior career. He began his football career at Everton and he scored 15 goals in 67 appearances for the Goodison Park outfit.
In 2004 Rooney signed a £25-million-worth deal with Manchester United and he has been playing for the Red Devils ever since. The England attacker won the Champions League trophy with Man Utd in 2008, with the Old Trafford outfit defeating Chelsea on penalties in the title game. The Manchester United attacker has won five Premier League trophies with the English giants (2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009, 2010/2011, 2012/2013), while lifting FA Cup title in the 2015/2016 season.
Nonetheless, Rooney, has yet to win a trophy with England national team. The 30-year-old ace failed to impress at the Euro 2016 final as he scored no more than one goal (penalty) at the showpiece tournament in France.
Highlighted Team (New York Red Bulls):

New York Red Bulls is the first club from New York City to join Major League Soccer. In 2006 the club was sold to Red Bull GmbH and, as a result, they are nicknamed the Red Bulls. New York welcome their rivals at Red Bull Arena and the team’s home colors are white and red.
On the other hand, the Red Bulls wear dark blue shirts and yellow shorts on the road. In 2008 New York Red Bulls made it to the MLS Cup final, but they were not capable of matching Columbus Crew (1-3) in the Home Depot Center clash. A number of top-class footballers were part of the team in the past, but former Arsenal forward Thierry Henry is the synonym of the club.
Henry scored 51 goals in 122 league games for New York Red Bulls from 2010 to 2014 and it has to be noted that he scored his first MLS hat-trick in a 5-2 victory over Montreal Impact on March 31, 2012. The likes of Youri Djorkaeff, Lothar Matthaus, Roberto Donadoni, Rafael Marquez, Juninho and Tim Cahill played for the club in the past as well.
