Our football match prediction:
Dallas will be aiming to clinch top position in the Western Conference with a victory over Orlando City at their Toyota Stadium. The Toros played out a goalless draw with Portland Timbers in their last league match, but they are seen as hot favourites to win Sunday’s football match against the Lions. Orlando sit are having yet another season to forget and seeing that they are low on confidence ahead of the trip to Texas, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Dallas’ party at Toyota Stadium. The Lions failed to find the net in previous three league fixtures in the Major League Soccer, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. Dallas are eyeing their tenth home win of the season and we believe that they are going to prove their worth on the field.
Highlighted Player (Jesse Gonzalez):
Jesse Gonzalez is a Mexican footballer who was born on May 25, 1995 in Edenton, North Carolina, United States of America. Gonzalez played for FC Dallas during his youth career and the goalkeeper made 17 league appearances for the senior team as well. In 2015 he was loaned to Pittsburg Riverhounds and it has to be noted that he played only one game for the club. After ending his loan spell with Pittsburg he returned to FC Dallas, but he was in Chris Seitz’s shadow during the 2016 season. Jesse Gonzalez has seven caps for Mexico U20 team and he made one appearance for Mexico U23 team as well. Jess Gonzalez, who grew up in Texas, wears number 1 on his shirt. Coach Jose Antonio Radilla helped Gonzalez make great progress during his youth career. The Mexican shoot-stopper has a deal with Dallas FC which expires on December 31, 2017.
Highlighted Team (Orlando City):
Orlando City are a member of the Eastern Conference in Major League Soccer. The Lions have been participating in the major league since 2015 and they host their rivals at Orlando City Stadium. The venue was opened in February, 2017 and the construction of the stadium cost $155 million. Orlando City finished the 2015 MLS season in seventh place in the Eastern Conference and they failed to make it to the play-offs in the 2016 season as well (8th place). Brazilian ace Kaka is undisputedly the club’s most famous player and the former Real Madrid and Milan man became the highest-paid player in MLS history. His base salary was $6.6 million per year and it has to be noted that the Brazilian superstar found the net on his Orlando City debut against FC Dallas (friendly). Orlando City’s home kit is violet, while they wear white and violet shirts and white socks on the travels. The club’s official mascot is Kingston the Lion.
