Our football match prediction:
Dallas are on a four-game winless run in MLS ahead of Sunday’s football match against Real Salt Lake. The Toros made a flying start to the season, but they do not seem to be on top of their game at the moment. However, Dallas are only two points behind Western Conference leaders Sporting Kansas City ahead of the visit of Real Salt Lake and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Royals on Sunday. Real Salt Lake recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Philadelphia Union in their last league game, with Joao Plata scoring the winner for the team. The Royals recorded their second straight win at home, but they are on a three-match losing run on the travels and we predict that Dallas are going to return to winning ways in the Major League Soccer. When the two teams met in MLS earlier this season Dallas emerged triumphant (3-0).
Highlighted Player (Jesse Gonzalez):
Jesse Gonzalez is a Mexican footballer who was born on May 25, 1995 in Edenton, North Carolina, United States of America. Gonzalez played for FC Dallas during his youth career and the goalkeeper made 17 league appearances for the senior team as well. In 2015 he was loaned to Pittsburg Riverhounds and it has to be noted that he played only one game for the club. After ending his loan spell with Pittsburg he returned to FC Dallas, but he was in Chris Seitz’s shadow during the 2016 season. Jesse Gonzalez has seven caps for Mexico U20 team and he made one appearance for Mexico U23 team as well. Jess Gonzalez, who grew up in Texas, wears number 1 on his shirt. Coach Jose Antonio Radilla helped Gonzalez make great progress during his youth career. The Mexican shoot-stopper has a deal with Dallas FC which expires on December 31, 2017.
Highlighted Team (Real Salt Lake):
Real Salt Lake joined Major League Soccer in 2005 as an expansion team of the league and four years later they won their first MLS Cup. The Royals faced star-studded Los Angeles Galaxy in the title game at Qwest Field in Seattle and Jason Kreis’ troops defeated David Beckham and Co. on penalties. In 2013 Real Salt Lake made it to the MLS Cup final for the second time in the club’s history, but they were beaten by Sporting Kansas City on penalties this time out. The Royals participated in the CONCACAF Champions League final in 2011 as well, but Monterrey of Mexico eventually won the title. Real Salt Lake footballers wear red shirts and blue shorts when playing at home, while the colour of their away kit is white. The likes of Clint Mathis, Jeff Cunningham and Eddie Pope are some of the notable footballers who played for the club in the past. Jeff Cunningham scored 19 goals in 32 appearances in the league for the Royals.
