Our football match prediction:
Dallas and Seattle Sounders face each other at Toyota Stadium in what is expected to be the most entertaining game of Sunday’s program. The Toros have been struggling to find their best form of late and they are on a seven-match winless in the Major League Soccer ahead of the visit of the reigning champions. It has to be noted that Dallas experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Atlanta United at the weekend. Seattle Sounders made a slow start to the season, but they have been producing much better performances in MLS in recent weeks and, as a result, they climbed to second place in the Western Conference. Clint Dempsey and Co. shared the spoils with their rivals in each of their previous three league games, but given Dallas’ poor form, we predict that the visitors are going to emerge triumphant in Sunday’s football match at Toyota Stadium.
Highligted Player (Jesse Gonzalez):
Jesse Gonzalez is a Mexican footballer who was born on May 25, 1995 in Edenton, North Carolina, United States of America. Gonzalez played for FC Dallas during his youth career and the goalkeeper made 17 league appearances for the senior team as well. In 2015 he was loaned to Pittsburg Riverhounds and it has to be noted that he played only one game for the club. After ending his loan spell with Pittsburg he returned to FC Dallas, but he was in Chris Seitz’s shadow during the 2016 season. Jesse Gonzalez has seven caps for Mexico U20 team and he made one appearance for Mexico U23 team as well. Jess Gonzalez, who grew up in Texas, wears number 1 on his shirt. Coach Jose Antonio Radilla helped Gonzalez make great progress during his youth career. The Mexican shoot-stopper has a deal with Dallas FC which expires on December 31, 2017.
Highlighted Team (Seattle Sounders):
Seattle Sounders are an American soccer club that compete in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer. The Sounders are owned by the likes of Joe Roth, Paul Allen, Drew Carey and Adrian Hanauer and they play their home games at CenturyLink Field. The club won the 2016 MLS Cup, with the team beating Toronto FC on penalties in the trophy game at BMO Field. Swiss goalkeeper Stefan Frei won the MVP honour after pulling off several brilliant saves in the 2016 MLS Cup final. Winning of the MLS Cup is undisputedly the club’s biggest success, but it has to be noted that the Sounders clinched the Supporters’ Shield trophy in 2014. Seattle hold rivalry with Portland Timbers, but Vancouver Whitecaps are regarded as the club’s bitter rivals as well. Experienced attacker Clint Dempsey is undisputedly the club’s most significant star and he has been playing for the CenturyLink Field outfit since 2014. He scored eight goals in the league in the 2016 season and, no doubt, he helped the Sounders win their first ever MLS Cup.
