Our prediction for this MLS match:
Allianz Field will host Monday’s playoff match between Minnesota United and Colorado Rapids. Minnesota were in a fine form in the regular season finale, with the team recording three wins in the last four league fixtures. The Loons are brimming with confidence ahead of the visit of Colorado Rapids, and we predict that Trinidad & Tobago international Kevin Molno is going to prove a handful for the opposition defenders.
Colorado Rapids, on the other hand, are eyeing their fourth consecutive win in the Major League Soccer, meaning that a lively contest is on the cards at Allianz Field. Since both sides are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Monday’s showdown, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. In their last meeting in the MLS Minnesota United recorded a 2-1 win over Colorado Rapids.

The 178-cm tall footballer made his debut for the Loons on March 3, 2019 in a 3-2 win over Vancouver Whitecaps in the opening match of the season. Despite being born in France, Romain Metanire represents Madagascar on the international stage. He made his debut for the national team in a 2-2 draw with Senegal in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. His preferred foot is right and his main position is right-back.
Romain Metanire helped Reims secure automatic promotion to the Ligue 1 in the 2017/2018 season. Reims clinched top position in the Ligue 2 in style, 15 points clear Nimes, but the following season Metanire made only five appearances in the French elite division.
Highlighted Team (Colorado Rapids):
Colorado Rapids is a Major League Soccer club and they compete in the USA professional soccer league as a member of the Western Conference. Colorado began their play in MLS back in 1996 and 14 years later they managed to win the MLS Cup trophy. The Rapids recorded a 2-1 win over FC Dallas in the final of the tournament, with George John scoring the winner for Gary Smith’s team in the extra time. Colorado made it to the MLS Cup final in 1997 as well, but D.C. United proved to be a big catch for the club in the title game.
The Rapids play their home games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and the venue has been Colorado’s home ground since 2007. It has to be noted that the likes of Tim Howard, Carlos Valderama, Claudio Lopez and Jermaine Jones were all part of the club in the past. Colorado’s colors are red, sky blue and white, but they were yellow shirts and blue shorts when playing on the travels.
