Our football match prediction:
Montreal Impact and Orlando City, the two out-of-form sides, face each other at Stade Saputo on Sunday morning. Montreal head into the game following back-to-back defeats to the likes of Dallas and New York Red Bulls, whilst Orlando City are on a three-game winless run in MLS at the moment. Both sides are desperate to get back on course and we predict that fans will see a high-scoring affair at Stade Saputo. The Canadian club are eyeing their sixth home win of the season and they are widely expected to find the net in Sunday's football match. Ricardo Kaka scored for the Lions in a 1-1 draw with Atlanta United at the weekend and the Brazilian ace will be the man to watch in the away team. The two teams played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in Orlando earlier this term and, taking everything into account, both teams to score bet should be considered.
Highlighted Player (Laurent Ciman):
Laurent Ciman is a Belgium international who plays for Montreal Impact in Major League Soccer. The defender who was born in Farciennes on August 5, 1985 played for Charleroi from 2004 to 2008 and he made no less than 85 league appearances for the Belgian outfit. During the 2007/2008 season he was on Club Brugge’s radar and in the summer of 2008 he joined the Blauw-Zwart. After ending his loan spell with Kortijk Laurent Ciman joined fellow Belgian club Standard Liege and he spent five seasons at Stade Maurice Dufrasne. On January 22, 2015 the defender signed a three-year contract with MLS club Montreal Impact and he has been playing for the Canadian outfit ever since. Ciman represented Belgium at the 2008 Olympics and he did remarkably well to make Belgium 2014 FIFA World Cup squad. However, he was unused at the showpiece tournament in Brazil. The Montreal Impact footballer scored his first ever goal for Belgium in June, 2016 in a 3-2 victory over Norway.
Highlighted Team (Orlando City):
Orlando City are a member of the Eastern Conference in Major League Soccer. The Lions have been participating in the major league since 2015 and they host their rivals at Orlando City Stadium. The venue was opened in February, 2017 and the construction of the stadium cost $155 million. Orlando City finished the 2015 MLS season in seventh place in the Eastern Conference and they failed to make it to the play-offs in the 2016 season as well (8th place). Brazilian ace Kaka is undisputedly the club’s most famous player and the former Real Madrid and Milan man became the highest-paid player in MLS history. His base salary was $6.6 million per year and it has to be noted that the Brazilian superstar found the net on his Orlando City debut against FC Dallas (friendly). Orlando City’s home kit is violet, while they wear white and violet shirts and white socks on the travels. The club’s official mascot is Kingston the Lion.
