Our football match prediction:
Yankee Stadium will host Saturday’s football match between New York City and Chicago. Patrick Vieira’s men have been having their ups and downs this season, the team look sharp in front of goal, but they struggle at the back and we would not be surprised if they fail to keep a clean sheet in the clash against the high-flying Chicago. Veljko Paunovic’s men sit in top position in the Eastern Conference and they have been playing above expectations in the 2017 MLS season. The Fire are on a ten-game unbeaten run in the league and it has to be noted that they recorded eight victories in previous ten league fixtures. Considering that both teams are likely to go for a win in Saturday’s derby, we predict that fans will see goals galore at Yankee Stadium. In their last meeting in New York David Villa and Co. emerged triumphant, but given Chicago’s current form share of spoils appears on the cards this time out.
Highlighted Player (Pirlo):
Over the years Andrea Pirlo has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world. “The Architect” played for Milan from 2001 to 2011 and won two Serie A (2003/2004, 2010/2011) trophies with the Rossoneri during his spell at Stadio San Siro. Pirlo clinched two Champions League titles with Milan as well (2002/2003, 2006/2007), but in 2011 Juventus signed him on a free contract until 2014. The Italian superstar, who is well known for his brilliant passes, won four Serie A titles with the Bianconeri and, speaking of his international career, he helped Italy beat France in the 2006 FIFA World Cup final in Germany. On July 6, 2015 Andrea Pirlo completed a move to MLS club New York City and he has been playing for the Pigeons ever since. The Italian veteran scored one goal, while providing six assists for his teammates in the 2016 MLS campaign. Andrea Pirlo has always been praised for his technique, touch, balance and dribbling ability and, no doubt, he will be remembered as one of the most significant footballers of the 21st century.
