Our prediction for this MLS match:
There will be fireworks when New York City and New York Red Bulls face each other in the local derby at Yankee Stadium. New York City aim to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Philadelphia Union, whereas New York Red Bulls are eager to return to winning ways after playing out a 2-2 draw with Vancouver Whitecaps. Both sides are determined to secure a top-two finish and there is every chance we will see a real football festival in the local derby. The Metros have yet to suffer a loss at home in the 2018 MLS campaign, but seeing that the Red Bulls are enjoying a very successful season, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. A man to watch in the home team will be David Villa, while New York City defenders should have Bradley Wright-Phillips at bay.
Highlighted Player (David Villa):

Over the years David Villa has established himself as one of the best attackers in the world. The Spanish superstar was producing excellent performances with Valencia from 2005 to 2010 and on May 19, 2010 Barcelona chiefs brought him to Camp Nou. “El Guaje” signed a four-year deal with Barca for a fee of €40 million and it is well known that he won a number of trophies with the Catalan giants.
Villa clinched two La Liga titles with Barca (2011/2012, 2012/2013) and in 2011 he scored for Pep Guardiola’s team in a 3-1 victory over Manchester United in the Champions League final. After spending one season at Atletico Madrid, the Spain international joined New York City in June, 2014 and he has been playing for Patrick Vieira’s team ever since.
Nonetheless, it has to be noted that he made four league appearances for Melbourne City during his loan spell with the Australian club. Villa’s international career was successful as well as he won both FIFA World Cup (2010) and UEFA European Championship (2008) with La Furia Roja.
Highlighted Team (New York Red Bulls):

New York Red Bulls is the first club from New York City to join Major League Soccer. In 2006 the club was sold to Red Bull GmbH and, as a result, they are nicknamed the Red Bulls. New York welcome their rivals at Red Bull Arena and the team’s home colors are white and red.
On the other hand, the Red Bulls wear dark blue shirts and yellow shorts on the road. In 2008 New York Red Bulls made it to the MLS Cup final, but they were not capable of matching Columbus Crew (1-3) in the Home Depot Center clash. A number of top-class footballers were part of the team in the past, but former Arsenal forward Thierry Henry is the synonym of the club.
Henry scored 51 goals in 122 league games for New York Red Bulls from 2010 to 2014 and it has to be noted that he scored his first MLS hat-trick in a 5-2 victory over Montreal Impact on March 31, 2012. The likes of Youri Djorkaeff, Lothar Matthaus, Roberto Donadoni, Rafael Marquez, Juninho and Tim Cahill played for the club in the past as well.
