Our prediction for this MLS match:
Orlando City look unstoppable at the moment. The Lions are on a five-game winning run in MLS ahead of Sunday's football game against Real Salt Lake and they want to give fans yet another reason for celebration. Ricardo Kaka, who left the club at the end of the last season, has been sorely missed in the first half of the season and Dom Dwyer is the team's new leader. Having scored five goals in the 2018 MLS campaign to date, the 27-year-old attacker is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders. Real Salt Lake, on the other hand, are a team with two faces. The Royals are tough to beat at home, but their performances on the road leave a lot to be desired and that is the main reason why we predict Orlando City are going to extend their winning run in the Major League Soccer to six games.
Highlighted Player (Yura Movsisyan):
Yura Movsisyan is a Real Salt Lake City footballer who plays for Armenian national team as well. Movsisyan was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, but his family moved to the United States while he was a boy and, as a result, he started his youth career at Pasadena Lancers. Following a one year of college soccer, Kansas City Wizards chiefs offered him a professional contract. The Armenian attacker scored five goals in 28 league appearances for the Wizards and in 2007 he signed for Real Salt Lake City. After spending two seasons at the MLS club, Movsisyan moved to Europe, signing a deal with Danish side Randers. Speaking of his stay in Russia, the Armenia international played for the likes of Krasnodar and Spartak Moscow and he scored no less than 48 goals in the Russian top flight. In 2017 he returned to Salt Lake City and he is expected to play an important role in Jeff Cassar’s team in the 2017 MLS campaign. Movsisyan made his Armenia debut on August 11, 2010 in a friendly against Iran.
Highlighted Team (Real Salt Lake):
Real Salt Lake joined Major League Soccer in 2005 as an expansion team of the league and four years later they won their first MLS Cup. The Royals faced star-studded Los Angeles Galaxy in the title game at Qwest Field in Seattle and Jason Kreis’ troops defeated David Beckham and Co. on penalties. In 2013 Real Salt Lake made it to the MLS Cup final for the second time in the club’s history, but they were beaten by Sporting Kansas City on penalties this time out. The Royals participated in the CONCACAF Champions League final in 2011 as well, but Monterrey of Mexico eventually won the title. Real Salt Lake footballers wear red shirts and blue shorts when playing at home, while the colour of their away kit is white. The likes of Clint Mathis, Jeff Cunningham and Eddie Pope are some of the notable footballers who played for the club in the past. Jeff Cunningham scored 19 goals in 32 appearances in the league for the Royals.
