Our football match prediction:
Following a 3-1 win over Real Salt Lake Atlanta United suffered back-to-back losses to the likes of DC United and New York City in previous two league games. The newcomers have been having their ups and downs at the start of their inaugural season, but, no doubt, coach Tata Martino is doing a good job with the Five Stripes. Atlanta United take on Portland Timbers at Providence Park on Sunday evening and they will give their best to get back on course. Portland suffered a heavy 3-0 loss to San Jose Earthquakes on the road at the weekend, but it is well known that the Timbers produce much better performances at home than on the travels. Caleb Porter’s men have already defeated the likes of Minnesota United, Houston Dynamo and Vancouver Whitecaps on home soil this term and we predict that they will emerge triumphant in Sunday’s football game against Atlanta.
