Our football match prediction:
Real Salt Lake play host to Portland Timbers at their Rio Tinto Stadium. The Royals suffered a 3-2 loss to Vancouver Whitecaps at the weekend, but a win over Portland Timbers could see them regain their spot in top six in the Western Conference. Real Salt Lake have been impressive at home ground of late and we predict that they are going to return to winning ways this weekend. Portland Timbers, on the other, proved their worth in a hard-fought win at New York City at the weekend and thanks to the triumph they retained top position in the Western Conference. Portland have been producing thrilling displays in the Major League Soccer of late, but given Real Salt Lake’s impressive home record, we are tempted to put our money on the Royals this time out. When the two teams met at Providence Park earlier this season Real Salt Lake rolled over Portland 4-1.
