Our prediction for this MLS match:
Out-of-sorts San Jose Earthquakes will be aiming to put an end to their four-game losing run in MLS when they welcome New England at their Avaya Stadium on Thursday. San Jose have been struggling at the back of late and it is no surprise they occupy 11th place in the standings ahead of the visit of New England. The Earthquakes will surely leave their hearts on the field in Thursday’s football match, but beating the Revs is easier said than done. New England are undefeated in previous four league fixtures and seeing that the hosts are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in the midweek fixture, we predict the visitors will have a number of opportunities to score on the break. You should bear in mind that the Revs outplayed the Earthquakes in three of their last five meetings in MLS, which is yet another reason why away win should be considered.
Highlighted Player (Danny Hoesen):

After making only one league appearance for Fortuna Sittard, Danny Hoesen joined English club Fulham in 2009, but he did not see any game action for the capital club during his spell at Craven Cottage as he was sent on loan to HJK and Fortuna Sittard.
In 2012 the 186-cm tall attacker signed a deal with Ajax and he scored seven goals in 32 league appearances for the Amstedammers from 2012 to 2014. In 2014 he joined fellow Eredivisie outfit Groningen and during the 2016/2017 season he was on San Jose Earthquakes’ radar. The Dutch footballer, who was born on January 15, 1991 in Heerlen, Limburg will play for the MLS outfit (on loan) in the 2017 season.
Speaking of his international career, Daniel Hoesen has 10 caps for Netherlands U17 team and he made three appearances for the Dutch U21 side. He is still a Groningen player and his contract with the Eredivisie side expires on June 30, 2018.
Highlighted Team (New England Revolution):

Unlike famous NFL club New England Patriots, the Revolution have yet to win the domestic trophy. New England participated five times in the MLS Cup final, but they were more than fortunate not to lift the silverware. The Revs played their last final in 2014, with the team losing to LA Galaxy in the title game at StubHub Center. New England Revolution, though, clinched the North American SuperLiga trophy in 2008 and that is considered as the club’s biggest success.
It has to be noted that the Revs defeated Houston Dynamo on penalties in the final of the tournament. New England Revolution were founded in 1994 and Gillette Stadium is the home ground of the club. Legendary defender Alexi Lalas played for the Revolution (1996-1997) and he scored three goals for the Gillette Stadium outfit. Fellow USA ace Clint Dempsey was part of the team as well and you should know that he netted 25 goals in 71 league appearances for the club.
