Our football match prediction:
Buoyed by a 3-0 win over Orlando City, Portland Timbers square off against San Jose Earthquakes at Avaya Stadium. Portland have been in a fine form of late and they are on the right track to make it to the play-offs. The team’s main goal is to finish the season in top two in the Western Conference, but they will have to be at their sharpest in the remainder of the season if they are to turn their dream into reality. The Timbers were beaten by Real Salt Lake in their last away game in MLS and, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from Sunday’s football match against San Jose Earthquakes. Chris Leitch’s men, though, have been impressive at home ground this season and that is the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts this time out.
