Our football match prediction:
San Jose Earthquakes will be aiming to put an end to their six-game winless run in MLS when they welcome Portland Timbers at their Avaya Stadium on Sunday. San Jose have been struggling at the back of late and, as a result, they dropped to 11th place in the standings. Portland Timbers made a slow start to the season as well, but it seems as if they are rising from the dead. The Earthquakes did well to record back-to-back wins over the likes of Minnesota United and New York City in previous two league fixtures and seeing that San Jose do not seem to be on top of their game at the moment, we predict the visitors are going to emerge triumphant in Sunday's football game. You should know, though, that SJ Earhquakes are after their first away win of the season.
