Our prediction for this MLS match:
In-form Seattle Sounders will be looking to extend their winning run to ten games when they welcome Philadelphia Union at their CenturyLink Field on Thursday. The last season’s runners-up made a very slow start to the season, but they seem to be on top of their game at the moment and, as a result, they sit in the play-off berth ahead of the visit of Philadelphia Union. The U head into Thursday’s football match following a heavy 4-1 home loss to Montreal Impact and seeing that Seattle Sounders look unstoppable at the moment, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the hosts. In their last meeting at CenturyLink Field Seattle recorded a 2-1 win over Philadelphia Union, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. Peru international Ruidiaz scored a brace against Vancouver at the weekend, meaning that the opposition defenders should have him at bay.
Highlighted Player (Clint Dempsey):

Clint Dempsey is regarded as one of the most significant MLS stars. The USA veteran was born on March 9, 1983 and he gain popularity during his spell with Fulham. Dempsey scored 50 goals in 184 league appearances for the Cottagers and, as a result, Tottenham Hotspur owners decided to bring him to White Hart Lane in the summer of 2012.
The USA international, though, was struggling to find his best form in the 2012/2013 Premier League campaign and he netted only seven goals in 29 league fixtures. From 2004 to 2006 Dempsey played for New England Revolution and in 2013 he returned to MLS, signing a four-year contract with Seattle Sounders for a fee of $9 million. He made his Seattle debut on August 20, 2013, coming as a substitute in a 2-1 win over Toronto.
In 2016 Clint Dempsey helped the Sounders clinch the MLS Cup trophy and, speaking of his international titles, it has to be noted that he won the CONCACAF Gold Cup with USA on two occasions (2005, 2007).
Highlighted Team (Philadelphia Union):

Based in Chester, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Union is an American soccer club that compete in Major League Soccer. The U have been participating in MLS since 2010, but they have yet to win the domestic trophy. Philadelphia welcome their opponents at Talen Energy Stadium, the venue that was opened on June 27, 2010 and current capacity of the stadium is 18.500.
The U made it to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final on two occasions (2014, 2015), but they were beaten by Seattle Sounders and Sporting Kansas City respectively in the title games. The likes of D.C. United and New York Red Bulls are regarded as the club’s fiercest rivals, but they share a rivalry with Seattle Sounders as well.
Philadelphia’s colors are navy blue and gold, but they wear white shirts and white socks when playing on the road. USA international Freddy Adu is one of the most notable footballers who player for the U in the past. The former Benfica man scored seven goals in 37 appearances for Philadelphia Union in MLS.
