Our football match prediction:
Toronto have found their best form of late. The Reds outplayed fellow star-studded teams Orlando City and Seattle Sounders and they are widely expected to extend their winning run in the league. The Canadian club welcome Minnesota United at their BMO Field and we predict that they will record a routine victory over the Loons in Saturday’s football match. You should bear in mind that Toronto are after their fourth straight win on home soil in the 2017 MLS campaign. Their next rivals Minnesota United have been having their ups and downs this term, but they proved their worth in a 2-0 win over Sporting Kansas City at the weekend. Anyhow, they will have a much bigger fish to fry against Toronto, who look unstoppable at the moment. Sebastian Giovinco was rested in the 1-0 win over Seattle Sounders, but he should lead the line for the hosts against Minnesota United.
Highligted Player (Sebastian Giovinco):
Sebastian Giovinco is the Italian football ace who plays for Toronto FC as a forward. His side position is attacking midfielder and he is undisputedly the team’s key player. Giovinco began his senior career at Juventus and he played for the likes of Empoli and Parma on loan during his spell at Serie A as well. The 162-cm tall footballer joined Toronto on January 19, 2015 and he has been playing for the Canadian outfit ever since. Giovinco scored 21 goals in 34 league fixtures in the 2016 MLS campaign and he is likely to play an important role in Greg Vanney’s team in the 2017 season. The Italian star made his debut for the Azzurri on February 9, 2011 in a 1-1 draw with Germany in Dortmund and it has to be noted that he won a silver medal with Italy national football team at the 2012 European Championship. Sebastian Giovinco was born in Turin on January 26, 1987 and in May 2013 his wife Shari gave birth to their first child Jacopo.
Highlighted Team (Minnesota United):
Based in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area, Minnesota United are a professional soccer club that will compete in the Western Conference in the Major League Soccer from 2017. The Loons will make their MLS debut against Portland Timbers on March 4, 2017 and, no doubt, they have big ambitions for the forthcoming season. Minnesota United are the sixth team to join MLS from a lower division and they will welcome their rivals at TCF Bank Stadium. The capacity of the stadium is 52.525 and it was opened in September, 2009. Bill McGuire is the club’s owner and he is on a quest to turn Minnesota United into a top-table side in the Western Conference. Adrian Heath will be in charge of the club in the 2017 season and it has to be noted that the English tactician used to train the likes of Manchester City, Everton, Aston Villa and Espanyol in the past. You should know that the club was founded on March 25, 2015.
