Our football match prediction:
Vancouver Whitecaps played out a goalless draw with Philadelphia Union in the opening match of the season, but they failed to impress in games against SJ Earthquakes and Toronto FC. The Canadian club aim to make amends for the back-to-back defeats and they are likely to leave their hearts on the field in Sunday’s football match against LA Galaxy. The StubHub Center outfit gave fans some cheer in round 3, with the team beating Salt Lake City in Utah and the visitors are definitely capable of grabbing something from Sunday’s clash against Vancouver. Carl Robinson’s team are on a three-game losing run in all competitions and that is the main reason why we predict LA Galaxy will record their second victory of the season. It has to be noted that the Whitecaps failed to score in previous three meetings with Curt Onalfo’s men in MLS.
Highlighted Player (Kendall Watson):
Kendall Waston is yet another Costa Rican footballer who plays in MLS. The Vancouver Whitecaps centre back started his senior career at Sarprissa of Costa Rica and he played for the likes of Carmelita, Nacional, Bayamon, UCR and Perez Zeledon (on loan) in the past as well. Waston moved to MLS in the summer of 2014, signing a deal with Vancouver Whitecaps. The Costa Rica international scored only two goals in 11 appearances for the club in the 2014 season, but the club chiefs decided to keep hold of him. He found the net twice in 30 league games in the 2015 MLS campaign, while scoring three goals in his last season with the Canadian club. Kendall Waston was born in San Jose, Costa Rica on January 1, 1988 and he made his debut for the Costa Rica national team in May, 2013 in a match against Canada. The Vancouver Whitecaps forward scored his first goal for los Ticos on December 16, 2015 in a 1-0 victory over Nicaragua.

Highlighted Team (Los Angeles Galaxy):

Los Angeles Galaxy are probably the most famous American soccer club. The club have been participating in the MLS since 1996 and San Jose Earthquakes are considered their bitterest rivals. A number of top-class players were part of the team in the past, but, no doubt, David Beckham is the club’s most significant star. The former Manchester United star played for LA Galaxy from 2007 to 2012 and he scored 18 goals in 98 appearances in the league for the club. Fellow England international Steven Gerrard is yet another Premier League ace who joined LA Galaxy. Stevie G signed a $9 million deal with the club in June, 2015. One year before he arrived to Los Angeles, the Galaxy won their fifth MLS Cup, with the team beating New England Revolution (2-1) in the final of the tournament, but winning of the CONCACAF Champions League in 2000 is considered the club’s biggest success. The MLS outfit outplayed Olimpia of Hunduras in the title game, with Ezra Hendrickson scoring the winning goal ten minutes before the final whistle. Los Angeles Galaxy play their home games at StubHub Center, the stadium that was opened on June 1, 2003. The capacity of the venue is 27.000.
