Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Den Haag take on Groningen at Cars Jeans Stadion in their first home game of the season. Den Haag aim to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Heracles, and we predict that they are going to leave their hearts on the field in Sunday’s showdown. Seeing that the visitors will be without legendary winger Arjen Robben in the Cars Jeans Stadion clash, we are tempted to put our money on the underdogs.
The experienced footballer suffered an injury in the 3-1 loss to PSV, and, no doubt, he will be sorely missed in Sunday’s clash. Den Haag produce much better showings at home than on the travels, and that is the main reason why home win should be considered. Speaking of the home team’s absentees, it has to be noted that talented defender Boy Kemper misses the game through suspension.

Highlighted Player (Aaron Meijers):

After spending his youth career at AVV Andijk and FC Volendam, Aaron Meijers continued playing for the Palingboeren at senior level. After scoring four goals in 124 league appearances for Volendam, the pacey left back joined fellow Dutch outfit RKC Waalwijk in 2010.
Aaaron Meijers quickly established himself as a first-team regular at RKC, but after playing 62 games in the league for the Yellow and Blues, he moved to ADO Den Haag in 2012. The Dutch footballer made his ADO Den Haag debut on August 12, 2012 in a 2-2 draw with Vitesse, and he has been playing for De Ooievaars ever since.
Aaaron Meijers was born in Delft, Netherlands on October 28, 1987. His main position is left-back, but he is capable of producing fine displays as central midfielder and left winger as well. His preferred foot is left, and he has a contract with ADO Den Haag until June 30, 2022.
Highlighted Team (Groningen):

Groningen is a Dutch football clubs that competes in the Eredivisie. Founded on June 16, 1971, Groningen play home games at Euroborg. The venue was built by Ballas Nedam, Royal BAM Group and VolkerWessels, and it can hold up to 22,525 people.
The Trots van het Noorden (Pride of the North) are well known for their white home shirts with red stripes, while purple is the dominant colour of their away kit. Volendam are considered the club’s fiercest rivals, but they have a rivalry with Twente as well after the 1980s incidents between their fans. Groningen have yet to win the Eredivisie trophy, but they did well to go all the way in the Dutch Cup in the 2014/15 season.
The green and whites defeated Zwolle 2-0 in the title game. Speaking of their European success, it has to be noted that Groningen participated in the Europa League on two occasions. In the 2015/16 season the Trots van het Noorden booked their place in the group stages of the competition, but they failed to record a win in the process.
