Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Saturday’s football game at De Oude Meerdijk pits together Emmen and Ajax, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the 2020/21 Eredivisie campaign. Emmen’s main goal is to secure yet another Eredivisie survival, while Ajax are determined to defend their trophy. The Amsterdammers are leading the chase for the title, with the team eyeing their sixth consecutive win in the national championship.
The reigning champions rolled over Heracles 5-0 at the weekend, and it is no wonder they are seen as favourites to win Saturday’s football game. Emmen, on the other hand, will be without suspended midfielder Lucas Bernadou in the De Oude Meerdijk clash, and given their four-game losing run in the Dutch top flight, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the title holders. Both Antony and Kudus remain on the sidelines for the visitors, but boss Erik ten Hag has strength in depth.

Highlighted Player (Anco Jansen):

Born in Zwolle, Netherlands on March 9, 1989, Anco Jansen is a pacey winger who started his senior career in his home-town club FC Zwolle. After scoring two goals in 40 league appearances for the club, he joined Groningen in 2008, but he did not see any game action with the Green and White Army in the Eredivisie.
Anco Jansen played for the likes of Cambuur, SC Veendam, De Graafschap, Roda JC, and Boluspor as well before joining FC Emmen in 2017. Anco Jansen made his Eredivisie debut with FC Emmen in a 2-1 win over ADO Den Haag on August 12, 2018, with the winger finding the net after 42 minutes.
His main position is left winger, but he is used as both centre-forward and attacking midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right. Anco Jansen has yet to earn a call-up with the Netherlands national football team.
Highlighted Team (Ajax):

Ajax is a Dutch football club that was founded on 18 March, 1900. Ajax are well known for their youth academy, which regarded as one of the best youth football schools in the world. The likes of Johan Cruijff, Edwin van der Sar, Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Kluivert, Rafael van der Vaart and Marco van Basten are all products of Ajax’s football academy. The Amsterdammers share a big rivalry with Feyenoord and there have always been fireworks when the two teams face each other in De Klassieker.
During the seventies Feyenoord and Ajax were the only two teams who were capable of winning the domestic trophies, while PSV have been playing an important role in Dutch football in the 21st century. PSV and Ajax are regarded as big rivals as well and the two teams square off against each other in De Topper. Ajax play their home games at Amsterdam ArenA, the stadium that was opened on 14 August, 1996. The Amsterdammers won their fourth European Cup (Champions League) trophy in 1995, beating Milan in the title game in Vienna.
