Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
RKC will be looking to build on a 2-0 win over Twente when they host Venlo at their Mandemakers on Saturday afternoon. The Yellow and Blues regained a much-needed confidence at the weekend, but they need to keep on improving their game if they are to secure the Eredivisie survival. Finn Stokkers, who found the net in the victory over Twente, is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
Venlo, on the other hand, have been struggling on the travels of late, with the team suffering three defeats in the previous four away games, while sharing the spoils with AZ Alkmaar. Given RKC’s display in their last league match, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed. In their last meeting in the Dutch top flight. Even though Venlo do not suit RKC, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts this time out.
Highlighted Player (Konstantinos Lamprou):

Konstantinos Lamprou is a Greek goalkeeper who plays for Eredivisie club RKC Waalwijk. Kostas is a product of the famous Ajax football academy, but he eventually decided to join Feyenoord football school. The 178-cm-tall shot-stopper continued playing for Feyenoord at senior level, making 14 league appearances for De Trots van Zuid.
During his spell with Feyenoord, Kostas Lamprou played for the likes of Excelsior and Willem II on loan as well. In 2017 he returned to Ajax, but made no more than three appearances in the Eredivisie with the Amsterdammers.
In the 2019/20 season he did not see any game action with Vitesse, and, as a result, he decided to join RKC Waalwijk at the end of the campaign. Born in Athens on September 18, 1991, Konstantinos Lamprou has 14 caps for the Greece U21 team. He has yet to make his debut with the senior team. His preferred foot is left and he wears the No. 31 shirt at RKC Waalwijk.
Highlighted Team (Venlo):

Based on the Dutch-German border, VVV-Venlo is a Dutch football club that plays in the Eredivisie. The club was founded on February 7, 1903 under the name of Venlose Voetbal Vereniging, and it’s considered one of the oldest clubs in Dutch football.
VVV Venlo are well known for their yellow shirts and black shorts, and, as a result, they are often called the Yellow Black Army. Venlo play home games at De Koel, the stadium which is able to hold up to 8,000 spectators.
Japan international Keisuke Honda is one of the most notable international footballers who played for the club. However, Honda is not the only Japanese player to wear the yellow jersey as the likes of Maya Yoshida, Robert Cullen, and Yuki Otsu played for the club as well. Roda JC are seen as one of the club’s main rivals, with the two clubs facing each other in the Limburgse derby.
