Our football match prediction:
Relegation threatened Palermo find themselves in all sorts of problems at the moment, sitting three points adrift of safety with just five games to go. That would not be such a big issue if it wasn’t for the fact that Davide Ballardini’s side have failed to win 12 successive league fixtures, although said coach was only to blame for the weekend’s 4-0 loss to holders Juventus. The lack of confidence is clearly affecting the Rosanero, who scored just two goals in last eight matches, and they clearly need to show massive improvement if they want to keep their survival hopes alive. Atalanta have been far from impressive themselves, sitting in the danger zone just few weeks ago, but successive home wins over Bologna and AC Milan helped them create a nice daylight between themselves and the bottom three. Orobici continued to show improvement as they came from two goals down to take a 3-2 lead against red-hot AS Roma, but eventually had to settle for one point. Nevertheless, we predict that Atalanta will pile more misery on Palermo and at the same time secure top flight survival.
