Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Desportivo Aves will be aiming to build on a 3-0 win over Portimonense when they welcome Boavista at their Estadio Clube Desportivo das Aves on Matchday 18. Nuno Manta Santos’ troops put an end to their three-game losing run in the Primeira Liga, but their top flight status is still in great danger. Desportivo Aves have collected only nine points from possible 51 so far this season, but they should take advantage of Boavista’s poor form.
The visitors are on a five-game winless run in the Portuguese elite division, which is probably the main reason why we are going to put our money on the rock-bottom team. You should bear in mind that Boavista failed to find the net in three of their last four league fixtures. In their last meeting at Estadio Clube Desportivo das Aves Nuno Manta Santos’ team defeated the Black and Whites 2-0.
