Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Farense play host to Maritimo at their Estadio de Sao Luis on day 9 of the new Primeira Liga campaign. Farense do not seem to be competitive at this level, with the team recording only one win in the process to date. The rock-bottom side are eager to give fans some cheer, and it seem as if they will not have a better chance than this to do so. The good news for the hosts is that midfielder Fabricio Isidoro has overcome his injury.
Maritimo, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season, with the team collecting only seven points from possible 24. The visitors head into the match following back-to-back defeats to Famalicao and Benfica, meaning that they are low on confidence ahead of the trip to Faro. The hosts are desperate to move away from the relegation zone, and we predict that they are going to prove their worth on the field.
