Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Rio Ave will be looking to keep their Europa League hopes alive when they restart the season with a match against Pacos de Ferreira. Rio Ave are enjoying a very successful season, but they will have to be at their sharpest in the upcoming ten rounds as well if they are to represent Portugal in European competitions next term. Anyhow, Carlos Carvalhal’s men are seen as hot favourites to beat the relegation strugglers, and we predict that they will prove their worth on the field.
A man to keep an eye on in the home side will be Iran international Mehdi Taremi, who is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders. Pacos de Ferreira, on the other hand, aim to escape the danger zone, but they will have a big fish to fry in Sunday’s football game against the Europa League-chasing side.
