Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Rio Ave and Maritimo go head to head at Estadio do Rio Ave in what is expected to be a very exciting game. Rio Ave are once again eyeing a place in European competitions, but they have already dropped too many points in the new Primeira Liga campaign. The likes of Junio and Monte are likely to miss the Maritimo game with injuries. The visitors, on the other hand, came from behind to beat Salguerios in the Taca de Portugal on Wednesday evening.
Maritimo suffered three defeats in the previous four league fixtures, and seeing that Rio Ave are eager to move a little closer to the Europa League berth, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed. Even though Maritimo midfielder Milson returns from suspension, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. Joel, who scored the winner against Belenenses, is pushing for a start to the visitors.
