Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Arsenal had a really rough weekend in the 14th round of the Premier League. The gunners were unable beat Norwich City which can be considered as one of the weakest teams in the Premier League and key player Alexis Sanchez got injured. Sunderland on the other hand surprisingly beat Stoke City 2-0 and won 3 very important points. After 3 games without a victory Arsenal is in desperate need of a victory in order to continue the title race. We predict Arsene Wenger to recover from their latest poor performances and beat Sunderland with 3-1, without the injured Alexis Sanchez it's time for other players to show their qualities and why they should play in the starting eleven.
Highlighted Player (Petr Cech):
Petr Cech is a veteran goalkeeper who plays for Premier League side Arsenal. The experienced goalkeeper used to play for Arsenal’s fierce rivals Chelsea in the past and many people were shocked when he signed a four-year contract with the Emirates Stadium outfit on 29 June, 2015.
Petr Cech was always struggling with injuries, but one definitely marked his career. During the clash between Reading and Chelsea the Czech goalkeeper collided with Stephen Hunt and, as a result, he suffered a skull fracture.
This is the reason he has been forced to wear a protective headgear ever since. Petr Cech won four Premier League trophies with Chelsea, while lifting four FA Cup titles. However, in 2012 Cech won the Champions League trophy with the Blues and that is considered the highlight of his career. Petr is married to Martina Dolejsova (now Cechova) and they have a son Darmian and a daughter Adela.
Highlighted Team (Sunderland):
Sunderland are a professional football club that have been playing their home games at the Stadium of Light since 1997. The capacity of the stadium is 49,000, but before expansion the original ground capacity was 42,000. Red and White shirts are Sunderland’s trademark and the club’s fiercest rivals are Newcastle United. The two local rivals have been contesting in the Tyne-Wear derby since 1898 and there have always been fireworks in what is one of the greatest derbies in English football. Sunderland were on the verge of dropping to the Championship in the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign, but experienced tactician Sam Allardyce eventually helped the team avoid relegation.
The Black Cats have won six First Division trophies (now the Premier League), with the team lifting two FA Cup titles. Sunderland won their first FA Cup trophy in 1937, with the team beating Preston North End 3-1 in the title game. The club was founded in 1879 as Sunderland and District Teachers A.F.C.
