Our football match prediction:
Turf Moor will host Sunday’s football game between Burnley and West Ham United. The Clarets aim to make amends for a 2-1 loss to Bournemouth, whilst the Hammers will be looking to recover from a heavy 4-0 defeat to Liverpool. Sean Dyche’s troops managed to secure yet another top flight survival and, no doubt, fans will pack the stadium when their favourites face West Ham United on the last day of the season. Burnley are tough to beat at home and we predict that they are going to find the net in Sunday’s clash. The Hammers aim to finish the season in style as well and Slaven Bilic’s troopa are likely to score in their last match of the season as well. In their last meeting at Turf Moor West Ham United recorded a 3-1 win over Burnley and, taking everything into account, a lively contest appears on the horizon.
Highlighted Player (Heaton):
Tom Heaton is a goalkeeper who was born on 15 April, 1986 in Chester, England. Heaton played for Manchester United during his youth career, but he did not make a first-team debut for the Old Trafford outfit. During his period at Manchester United he played for several lower-league clubs on loan (Swindon Town, Royal Antwerp, Cardiff City, QPR, Rochdale, Wycombe Wanderers). After ending his loan spell with Wycombe Wanderers in 2010, the goalkeeper signed a contract with Cardiff City. After making 29 appearances for Bristol City in the Championship, he joined Burnley in 2013. He played for the Clarets in the 2014/2015 Premier League campaign, but he did not help the team avoid relegation to the English second tier. However, Tom Heaton and his teammates returned to the top flight at the end of the 2015/2016 campaign. Heaton made his England debut in a warm-up game against Australia in 2016 as the Three Lions recorded a 2-1 win over the Socceroos, while he was also a member of the squad that represented the country at the Euro 2016 finals.
Highlighted Team (West Ham United):
West Ham United are an English football club based in East London. The club was founded in 1895 and it has to be noted that the club’s name was Thames Ironworks back then. The Hammers were playing their home games at Upton Park from 1904 until 2016, when they moved to the Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. West Ham have won three FA Cup trophies (1964, 1975 and 1980) and they were runners-up in 1923 and 2006. The capital club finished the 1985/1986 England first division campaign in third place in the standings and that is the club’s highest placing in the top flight. West Ham United have strong rivalries with fellow London clubs, but Tottenham Hotspur are considered the club’s main rivals. A number of top-class players were part of West Ham in the past and the likes of Joe Cole, Carlos Tevez, Paolo Di Canio, Paul Ince, Julian Dicks, Shaka Hislop, Michael Carrick and Slaven Bilic are some of them.
