Our football match prediction:
Saturday’s football match at the John Smith’s Stadium pits together Huddersfield Town and Brighton, the two teams who are eager to secure the Premier League survival. The Seagulls were on the verge of beating ten-man Leicester City at the weekend, but the two sides eventually played out a 1-1 draw as the Foxes scored a late equalizer from the penalty spot. Brighton aim to regain their spot in the top half of the table, but they should be happy with one point from the Huddersfield Town game. The Terriers, on the other hand, made a very slow start to the season, but the fact that they collected four points from previous two home fixtures in the English top flight is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Brighton. Anyhow, the two teams seem to be evenly matched at the moment and close encounter is on the horizon.

Highlighted Player (Terence Kongolo):
Despite being born in Fribourg, Switzerland Terence Kongolo plays for the Dutch national team. The 188-cm-tall centre back, who plays as a left back as well, began his club career at Feyenoord and he has been playing for de Trots van Zuid ever since. Kongolo has established himself as one of the team’s key players and it is no surprise Louis Van Gaal included him in the Netherlands 2014 FIFA World Cup squad. The defender came as a substitute in the final group game against Chile. The Oranje won the bronze medal at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, beating hosts Brazil in the third-place play offs. It has to be noted that he was part of the Netherlands U17 Team that clinched the trophy at the 2011 European Championship finals. Kongolo made 29 appearances for Feyenoord in the 2015/2016 Eredivisie campaign, while playing six games in the Dutch Cup. His contract with Feyenoord expires on 30 June, 2018.

The club made it to the FA Cup final in 1983, but English giants Manchester United proved to be a big catch for the Red Devils. Brighton’s main rivals are Crystal Palace and the Seagulls have recorded 35 wins over the Eagles. Frank Stapleton, Martin Chivers, Joe Corrigan, Bobby Zamora, Mark Lawrenson, Bobby Smith, John Crumplin and Frank Worthington are notable footballers who played for Brighton in the past.
