Our match prediction:
Reigning champions Leicester City will be looking to kick off the 2016/2017 Premier League campaign in style when they take on newcomers Hull City at KCOM Stadium. The Foxes produced a fine display in the Community Shield against Manchester United, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic eventually spoiled Leicester’s party at Wembley Stadium. Claudio Ranieri’s men made a miracle in the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign and many people believe that they are not capable of repeating the success. However, considering that Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have yet to leave the club, we predict that the Foxes are going to pick up all three points from Saturday’s football match. Jamie Vardy found the net in the 2-1 loss Manchester United and the pacey attacker is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders. In their last meeting in Hull (2014) Leicester defeated Tigers 1-0 and we believe that history is going to repeat itself.
Highligted Player (Michael Dawson):
Michael Dawson is a highly rated defender who started his youth career at Nottingham Forest. He made his first-team debut for the Reds in April 2002 in a 3-2 loss to Walsall. After spending four years at Nottingham Forest, Michael Dawson joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2005 and he went on to make 236 appearances for the capital club, scoring 7 goals and quickly becoming fans’ favourite at White Hart Lane. After losing his place in the side, the centre-back signed for Hull City in 2014. The English footballer played for the Tigers in the 2014/2015 Premier League campaign and despite the fact that they dropped to the Championship at the end of the season, he decided not to leave the club. Michael Dawson scored one goal in 32 appearances for Hull City in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign and he helped the Tigers return to the English top flight. Michael Dawson made his England debut in a friendly against Hungary in August, 2010. His main position is centre back.
