Our football match prediction:
King Power Stadium will host Sunday’s football match between Leicester City and Manchester United. The Foxes are running down a blind alley at the moment and they are only two points clear of the relegation zone ahead of Matchday 24. The title holders are desperate to secure the Premier League survival, but Claudio Ranieri’s troops will have to be at their sharpest in the remainder of the season if they are to avoid relegation to the Championship. Leicester are on a four-game winless run in all competitions, but the good news for the fans is that Riyad Mahrez returned from international duty. Manchester United were held by Hull City to a goalless draw in midweek and, as things stand now, the Red Devils are unlikely to win the Premier League trophy. Jose Mourinho’s men are eyeing a place in the Champions League and a win over the out-of-form Foxes could help them move one step closer to turning their dream into reality. Zlatan Ibrahimovic failed to impress against Hull City, but we predict that he is going to prove a handful for Leicester City defenders.
Highlighted Player (Morgan):
Wes Morgan is an experienced 32-year-old defender who plays for English Premier League team Leicester City and the Jamaica national team. Morgan spent majority of his career at his boyhood club Nottingham Forest playing more than 400 games for them across 10 seasons. He was their longest-serving player when he transferred to Leicester City in 2012. Morgan soon became the captain of Leicester City and had great success with the Foxes most notably winning the Championship title in 2014 and the Premier League title in 2016. Morgan was born and brought up in England but chose to represent his ancestral nation at international level. He debuted for Jamaica in 2013 and was part of the teams that competed in the 2015 Copa America. He was also a successful member of the Jamaican team that finished second in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Morgan is a tough tackling defender and is a sturdy presence at the back.
Highlighted Team (Manchester United):
Over the years Manchester United have established themselves as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Red Devils have won three European Cup (Champions League) trophies and they have clinched no less than 20 Premier League titles. A number of top-class players were part of Manchester United in the past, but, no doubt, the club’s biggest legend is coach Sir Alex Ferguson, who was in charge of the team for 26 years. During Alex Ferguson’s spell at Old Trafford the club won a number of trophies, but the Red Devils have been struggling in all competitions ever since he retired. Louis van Gaal helped Manchester United win the FA Cup trophy in the 2015/2016 season, with Jese Lingard scoring the winner in the 2-1 triumph over Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium. The likes of Bobby Charlton, Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, George Best and Eric Cantona are the football stars that graced Old Trafford for Manchester United.
