Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Manchester City play host to Southampton at their Etihad Stadium on day 11 of the new Premier League campaign. The Citizens are eager to defend their Premier League title and, as before, they will adopt an attack-minded approach in Sunday’s football game against Southampton. Pep Guardiola’s men have been impressive at their Etihad Stadium this season, with the team recording a win in each of their five home games and it is no surprise they are seen as hot favourites to win Sunday’s clash. Southampton, on the other hand, played out goalless draws with Bournemouth and Newcastle in previous two league fixtures and it is more than obvious that they struggle in front of goal. Southampton face an uphill task in the Etihad Stadium clash against Man City and we are positive that they are going to return home empty-handed from the trip to the blue part of Manchester.

Highlighted Player (Vincent Kompany):

Vincent Kompany is regarded as one of the best defenders in the world of football. The Belgian ace was born on 10 April, 1986 and he is capable of playing as centre back and defensive midfielder. Kompany began his youth career at Anderlecht and in 2006 he arrived to Germany to play for Bundesliga side Hamburger SV.
Two years later he signed for Manchester City for a fee of £6 million. The Man City defender has won two Premier League trophies with the Etihad Stadium outfit (2011/2012, 2013/2014) and he made it to the Champions League semis in the 2015/2016 season with the Citizens.
Vicent Kompany was named the Premier League player of the season in the 2011/2012 campaign and it has to be noted that he was awarded the captaincy of Man City back then. The Belgium international married Carla Higgs in 2011, who gave birth to their two children (daughter and son).
Highlighted Team (Southampton):

Southampton are an English football club that have been playing their home games at St Mary's Stadium since 2001. The Saints were based at The Dell in the past and the capacity of Southampton’s new stadium is 32,505. Southampton wear red and white striped shirts and the colour of the team’s away kit is navy and green.
The Saints have yet to win the Premier League trophy, but they did well to clinch the FA Cup title back in 1976, while participating in the final of the prestigious competition in 1900, 1902 and 2003. Southampton outplayed Manchester United in the 1976 FA Cup final and that is probably the club’s greatest victory ever.
The club are well known for their football academy and Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale is one of the players who began their football carrier at the St. Mary’s Stadium outfit. Southampton’s fiercest rivals are Portsmouth and the two teams square off against each other in the South Coast Derby.
