Our prediction for this Premier League match:
The absolute clash in the 19th round of the Premier League will take place on Old Trafford where Manchester United and Chelsea will play against each other on Monday evening at 17:30. Both teams will be happy to finish the first part of this seasons Premier League. Chelsea was forced to sack manager Jose Mourinho and will have a difficult rest of the season and will have to set European football out of their head. Manchester United on the other hand is still in the top region of the Premier League but will have to set all sails in order to continue in the title race. The game between Manchester United and Chelsea will be the last moment for both teams to clear their head and continue the second half of the season with confidence. Previous confrontations between Manchester United and Chelsea in Old Trafford show that both teams are very equal to each other. We predict a 1-1 draw were both teams and manager won't be satisfied with. Both manager will have to ask for new signings.
Highlighted Player (Diego Costa):
Diego Costa is a Brazilian-born attacker who plays for Spain. “The Tasmanian devil” decided to switch his allegiance to the Spain national team, but he did not make Spain Euro 2016 squad. The controversial forward is well known for his bad-tempered affairs and he is considered one of the most disliked men in the world of football.
Diego Costa began his senior career at Braga and he used to play for the likes of Penafiel, Celta Vigo, Albacete, Real Valladolid, Rayo Vallecano and Atletico Madrid in the past as well. Costa currently plays for Chelsea and he impressed in the 2014/2015 Premier League campaign with the Stamford Bridge outfit, scoring 20 goals in the English top flight. However, he was struggling to find his best form in the 2015/2016 campaign and it is no surprise he netted just 12 goals for Chelsea in the national championship.
Diego Costa won Spanish La Liga with Atletico Madrid in 2014 and he participated in the Champions League final against Real Madrid the same season. On the other hand, he clinched the Premier League trophy with Chelsea in 2015.
Highlighted Team (Manchester United):
Over the years Manchester United have established themselves as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Red Devils have won three European Cup (Champions League) trophies and they have clinched no less than 20 Premier League titles.
A number of top-class players were part of Manchester United in the past, but, no doubt, the club’s biggest legend is coach Sir Alex Ferguson, who was in charge of the team for 26 years. During Alex Ferguson’s spell at Old Trafford the club won a number of trophies, but the Red Devils have been struggling in all competitions ever since he retired. Louis van Gaal helped Manchester United win the FA Cup trophy in the 2015/2016 season, with Jese Lingard scoring the winner in the 2-1 triumph over Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium.
The likes of Bobby Charlton, Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, George Best and Eric Cantona are the football stars that graced Old Trafford for Manchester United.
