Our prediction for this Premier League match:
The Black Cats will visit Old Trafford on Saturday for a confrontation with Manchester United in the 7th round of the Premier League. Manchester United is placed 2nd on the current table with 13 points out of 6 games while Sunderland is currently 20th and rock bottom in the Premier League. It will be another game with 2 Dutch coaches: Louis van Gaal and Dick Advocaat. We expect Manchester United to take charge in this game and put Sunderland under pressure. United's signing Anthony Martial is showing his abilities week by week and will take a crucial role against Sunderland again.
Highlighted Player (Bastian Schweinsteiger):
After making a name for himself at Bayern Munich, Bastian Schweinsteiger moved to Manchester United in 2015 for a fee of €9 million. The German midfielder won eight Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich, but he has yet to win the Premier League trophy with Manchester United. However, winning the 2014 World Cup trophy with Germany is considered Bastian’s biggest success and it is well known that he won the bronze medal with die Manschaft at the 2006 and the 2010 World Cup finals. Schweinsteiger was born on 1 August, 1984 and he scored 45 goals in 342 appearances for Bayern Munich. The German international, though, failed to impress in the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign with Manchester United as he scored no more than one goal in 18 appearances for the Old Trafford outfit. Bastian Schweinsteiger netted once for Germany at the Euro 2016 finals and later in July he married Serbian tennis player Ana Ivanovic.
Highlighted Team (Sunderland):
Sunderland are a professional football club that have been playing their home games at the Stadium of Light since 1997. The capacity of the stadium is 49,000, but before expansion the original ground capacity was 42,000. Red and White shirts are Sunderland’s trademark and the club’s fiercest rivals are Newcastle United. The two local rivals have been contesting in the Tyne-Wear derby since 1898 and there have always been fireworks in what is one of the greatest derbies in English football. Sunderland were on the verge of dropping to the Championship in the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign, but experienced tactician Sam Allardyce eventually helped the team avoid relegation. The Black Cats have won six First Division trophies (now the Premier League), with the team lifting two FA Cup titles. Sudnerland won their first FA Cup trophy in 1937, with the team beating Prestson North End 3-1 in the title game. The club was founded in 1879 as Sunderland and District Teachers A.F.C.
