Our football match prediction:
Liverpool dropped two points in a 2-2 draw with West Ham United, but the Reds missed several clear-cut chances to score in Sunday’s football match. Jurgen Klopp’s men are still in the race for the trophy, but they are six points behind league leaders Chelsea ahead of Matchday 16. Liverpool face a must-win situation against Middlesbrough and despite the fact that Philippe Coutinho remains in the recovery room, the Reds are certainly capable of getting back on course. The Reds are eyeing their fifth away win of the season, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. The Boro did well to beat Hull City in their last home fixture, but they obviously struggle in matches against top-table teams and we predict that the visitors are going to pick up all three points from Wednesday’s match. Sadio Mane impressed against West Ham, meaning that the opposition defenders should have him at bay.
Highligted Player (Fabio):
Fabio Pereira da Silva was born in Petropolis, Rio de Janeiro on 9 July, 1990. The full-back, who is capable of playing on both sides of the field, began his youth career at Fluminense and in 2007 he was spotted by Manchester United scouts. Despite signing a contract with the Premier League giants in February, 2007, the Brazilian footballer was unable to play for the Red Devils until his 18th birthday. On August, 2008 he made his Manchester United debut, coming from the bench in a 2-0 win over Peterborough United. Fabio impressed on his debut, but he made just two appearances for Manchester United in the 2008/2009 season (FA Cup). On 2 July, 2012 Fabio signed a loan deal with Queens Park Rangers and he played 21 games for the Hoops in the 2012/2013 Premier League campaign. He returned to Manchester United for the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign, but on 29 January, 2014 David Moyes decided to sell him to Cardiff City. Speaking of his international career, Fabio has 17 caps for Brazil U17 team and he made his first-team debut on 7 October, against Costa Rica.
Highlighted Team (Liverpool):
Founded back in 1982, Liverpool are one of England’s and world’s most famous clubs. The Reds hold a high-profile rivalry with Everton and there have always been fireworks when the two teams take on each other in the Merseyside derby. The Reds welcome their opponents at Anfield and it has to be noted that they have already won 18 first division trophies. Liverpool were on the verge of lifting the 2014/2015 Premier League trophy, but Steven Gerrard slipped in the decider against Chelsea and left the Reds without a title. Liverpool won their last Champions League trophy in 2005, with the team coming from three goals behind to beat Milan in a historic clash in Istanbul. The Reds have clinched five European Cups and it is no surprise they are regarded as one of the greatest European clubs. The likes of Steven Gerrard, Robbie Fowler, Paul Ince, Ian Rush, Graeme Souness, Sami Hyypia and Luis Suarez are some of the most notable footballers to have represented the club over the years. The club’s anthem is You’ll Never Walk Alone and their shirt colour is red.
