Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Southampton were on the verge of beating Burnley at Turf Moor in their last league match, but the Clarets eventually scored a late equalizer. The Saints are only two points clear of bottom three ahead of the relegation six-pointer against Cardiff City and a win in Saturday’s football game will see them move one step closer to securing yet another Premier League survival. Southampton have been showing signs of improvement of late and it has to be noted that they are undefeated in previous five league fixtures and seeing that Cardiff City are not regarded as good travelers, home win should be considered. The Bluebirds did well to beat Bournemouth 2-0 in front of home fans, but you should bear in mind that the Cherries were without Callum Wilson and David Brooks in the Cardiff City Stadium clash. Anyhow, we are tempted to put our money on the Saints this time out.

Highlighted Player (Shane Long):

Shane Long is an Irish international striker who has so far made over 60 appearances for the Republic of Ireland national team, scoring more than 15 goals in the process. The forward began his professional career at Cork City, but only made one league appearance for the club ahead of the switch to Reading, where he would go on to spend next seven years.
During that time, Long established himself as one of the best Irish strikers plying their trade in England, and also went on to represent West Bromwich Albion, Hull City and Southampton.
Despite not exactly boasting an enviable goalscoring record for a centre forward, Long was always held in high regard by both managers and his peers, with his incredible work rate and never-say-die attitude winning him plenty of admirers. Long will also go down as one of the most prolific scorers in the history of the Republic of Ireland national team, which he represented at the Euro 2012 and Euro 2016 finals.
Highlighted Team (Cardiff City):

Cardiff City are a Welsh football club that compete in the English second tier (Championship). In 2009 they moved from Ninian Park to Cardiff City Stadium, the venue that officially holds 33,280 spectators.
The Bluebirds played their first ever Premier League match on 18 August, 2013, but they were beaten by West Ham United (0-2) on their debut in the English top flight. However, a week later Fraizer Campbell (two goals) and Aron Gunnarson helped Cardiff City record their first ever win in the Premier League.
The Bluebirds outplayed Manchester City back then, but they eventually dropped to the Championship at the end of the season. Fellow Welsh outfit Swansea City are considered Cardiff’s fiercest rivals and the two teams take on each other in the South Wales derby.
The colour of Cardiff City’s home kit is blue, whilst they wear red shirts and shorts when playing on the travels.
