Our prediction for this Premier League match:
It has been a frustrating week for Pep Guardiola, but things can easily go from bad to worse if Manchester City fail to grab a win against Tottenham on Sunday in the pick of the week in the Premier League. Both rivals are coming off from midweek action in the UEFA Champions League. Mauricio Pochetino’s men have shown great resilience to get back from Russia with a 1-0 win over CSKA Moscow. Son Heung-Min continued his fine form for the Spurs by scoring a winning goal, and London side will be hopeful they could go on to extend their winning run which currently stands at four straight victories. On the other side, Pep Guardiola winning start to his Manchester City reign has been put to a halt after ten successive triumphs in all competitions. Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic gave Pep Guardiola a sweating on the touchline with their brave performance during which Citizens were forced to come from behind on two occasions to earn a thrilling 3-3 draw. We expect a response, but do not dare to predict an away win against in-form Spurs.
