Our football match prediction:
All eyes will be on White Hart Lane when Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United square off against each other on the penultimate day of the season. Spurs suffered a shocking loss to West Ham United at London Stadium at the weekend and, as a result, they are unlikely to win the Premier League trophy. Anyhow, Mauro Pochettino’s men will give 100% to extend their winning run at home to 14 games and we predict that they will take Sunday’s football match against Man Utd very seriously. The Red Devils, on the other hand, are eager to book their place in the Champions League, but seeing that top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains on the sidelines with injury, we are tempted to put our money on the capital club. Harry Kane failed to impress in the 1-0 loss to West Ham United, but he is definitely capable of posing a big threat for Manchester United defenders.
Highlighted Player (Hugo Lloris):
Hugo Lloris is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world of football. The French international was born on 26 December, 1986 and he began his senior career at Nice in 2002. After spending six years with les Aiglons, Hugo Lloris signed a contract with fellow Ligue 1 side Lyon in 2008. The 29-year-old goalkeeper made 146 appearances for the French giants, but in 2012 he moved to London. Tottenham Hotspur completed the deal for the impressive shot-stopper on 31 August, 2012 for a fee of €10 million and €5 million variable and, no doubt, he made a right decision when he decided to join the White Hart Lane outfit. Speaking of his individual awards, Hugo Lloris was named Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year on three occasions (2008/2009, 2009/2010 and 2011/2012). The 188-cm-tall goalkeeper earned his 82nd cap for the French national team in the Euro 2016 final against Portugal. However, Eder’s goal spoiled the party of les Tricolores at Stade de France.
Highlighted Team (Manchester United):
Over the years Manchester United have established themselves as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Red Devils have won three European Cup (Champions League) trophies and they have clinched no less than 20 Premier League titles. A number of top-class players were part of Manchester United in the past, but, no doubt, the club’s biggest legend is coach Sir Alex Ferguson, who was in charge of the team for 26 years. During Alex Ferguson’s spell at Old Trafford the club won a number of trophies, but the Red Devils have been struggling in all competitions ever since he retired. Louis van Gaal helped Manchester United win the FA Cup trophy in the 2015/2016 season, with Jese Lingard scoring the winner in the 2-1 triumph over Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium. The likes of Bobby Charlton, Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, George Best and Eric Cantona are the football stars that graced Old Trafford for Manchester United.
