Our football match prediction:
Tottenham Hotspur have been in a terrific form of late. The Spurs have been impressive in front of goal in recent festive fixtures and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play in Saturday’s football match against West Bromwich Albion. Harry Kane has found his goal-scoring touch of late and all eyes will be on the team’s top scorer when the two teams face each other at White Hart Lane. It is well known that the Spurs are a real force to be reckoned with at home and seeing that a win over WBA would see the capital club keep their hopes of winning the title alive, we are tempted to put our money on Mauro Pochettino’s troops in this one. The Baggies are eyeing their third consecutive win in the league, but given that they struggle when facing top-table sides, we predict that the visitors will return home empty-handed.
Highlighted Player (Ben Davies):
After graduating from the Swansea City academy, Ben Davies was surprisingly given a chance to shine as Neil Taylor suffered a difficult injured, and he grabbed it with both hands to become a starter in his first ever Premier League season. The Welsh left-back, who is also capable of operating in the heart of defence, continued with impressive performances in the elite division and one more strong season saw Tottenham Hotspur express their interest in his services and eventually secured his signature. Davies has since been vying England international Danny Rose for a starting position and even though he has been playing second fiddle of late, the defender is seen as a great prospect for the future. After initially playing at left-back in the Wales national team, Davies was moved to left centre-back position as Chris Coleman switched to 5-4-1 formation, and he has impressed playing alongside captain Ashley Williams and James Chester as the Dragons clinched qualification to the Euro 2016 finals.
