Our football match prediction:
#5 in the Premier League West Ham United will visit White Hart Lane for a match against #4 Tottenham Hotspur. Both teams have the same amount of points so far (21) and both are from London which gives this game that extra amount of excitement. After 12 rounds the Premier League West Ham United is one of the surprises and is known for a very difficult opponent for the bigger teams in the Premier League. Tottenham Hotspur on the other hand had a tough start in the Premier League but is next to Leicester City the only team dat lost one game. West Ham United is known for their risky strategy which resulted in a 23-16 goal difference. We predict Tottenham Hotspur to be the stronger team in this game, like other games West Ham United can perform above their abilities which could result in the Hammers bring a point back home.
Highligted Player (Lloris):
Hugo Lloris is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world of football. The French international was born on 26 December, 1986 and he began his senior career at Nice in 2002. After spending six years with les Aiglons, Hugo Lloris signed a contract with fellow Ligue 1 side Lyon in 2008. The 29-year-old goalkeeper made 146 appearances for the French giants, but in 2012 he moved to London. Tottenham Hotspur completed the deal for the impressive shot-stopper on 31 August, 2012 for a fee of €10 million and €5 million variable and, no doubt, he made a right decision when he decided to join the White Hart Lane outfit. Speaking of his individual awards, Hugo Lloris was named Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year on three occasions (2008/2009, 2009/2010 and 2011/2012). The 188-cm-tall goalkeeper earned his 82nd cap for the French national team in the Euro 2016 final against Portugal. However, Eder’s goal spoiled the party of les Tricolores at Stade de France.
Highlighted Team (West Ham United):
West Ham United are an English football club based in East London. The club was founded in 1895 and it has to be noted that the club’s name was Thames Ironworks back then. The Hammers were playing their home games at Upton Park from 1904 until 2016, when they moved to the Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. West Ham have won three FA Cup trophies (1964, 1975 and 1980) and they were runners-up in 1923 and 2006. The capital club finished the 1985/1986 England first division campaign in third place in the standings and that is the club’s highest placing in the top flight. West Ham United have strong rivalries with fellow London clubs, but Tottenham Hotspur are considered the club’s main rivals. A number of top-class players were part of West Ham in the past and the likes of Joe Cole, Carlos Tevez, Paolo Di Canio, Paul Ince, Julian Dicks, Shaka Hislop, Michael Carrick and Slaven Bilic are some of them.
