Our football match prediction:
Despite being regarded as favourites to win Saturday’s football match against Bournemouth, Stoke City suffered a shocking 1-0 loss to Eddie Howe’s team at their Britannia Stadium, but it has to be noted that Bojan Krkic missed a chance to score the equaliser from the penalty spot. The Potters sit in 13th place in the Premier League standings ahead of the trip to Watford and, no doubt, the visitors should be happy with one point from the match. The Hornets, on the other hand, outplayed title holders Leicester City in their last league fixture and thanks to the triumph they retained their spot in top 10. Watford are a real force to be reckoned with at home and you should bear in mind that they recorded three wins in previous four home games in the English top flight. Watford outplayed Manchester United at their Vicarage Road Stadium earlier this season and we predict that they are going to defeat Stoke City on Matchday 13.
Highlighted Player (Pantilimon):
Born in Bacau on 1st February 1987, Costel Fane Pantilimon became famous as the tallest Premier League footballer at six foot, eight inches. The towering shot-stopper made a name for himself at Politehnica Timisoara, where he spent ten years, albeit only making 93 league outings. In 2011, he signed for Manchester City to act as an understudy to England number one Joe Hart, but eventually grew frustrated by the lack of first team football after featuring in just seven Premier League fixtures during the four years at Etihad Stadium. Pantilimon was able to kick-start his career at Sunderland, becoming their first choice goalkeeper, but he ultimately lost his place in the side and decided to join Watford in the summer of 2015. The Hornets keeper has been a member of the Romania national team since 2008 and he amassed over 20 appearances for Tricolorii despite never quite being able to establish himself as an undisputed starter.
