Our football match prediction:
Buoyed by a 3-0 win over Stoke City, West Ham United will be looking to escape the danger zone in the Premier League standings when they host Newcastle United at their London Stadium. The Hammers proved their worth in the victory over the Potters and it has to be noted that they are eyeing their fourth consecutive clean sheet in the national championship. The capital club have been producing splendid displays under new coach David Moyes and we predict they will emerge triumphant in Saturday’s football game against Newcastle. The Magpies, on the other hand, are on a four-game losing run in the Premier League and they are unlikely to spoil West Ham’s party at London Stadium. You should bear in mind that Newcastle United key midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has yet to serve his ban. In their last meeting in the English capital the Hammers defeated the Magpies (2-0).
Highlighted Player (Zabaleta):
Pablo Zabaleta is a full back who plays for Premier League side Manchester City. The Argentine footballer began his senior career at San Lorenzo and in 2005 he joined La Liga side Espanyol. After spending three years at Cornella El Prat, Pablo Zabaleta signed a deal with Manchester City for a fee of £6.45 million. The Argentine player was born in Buenos Aires on 16 January, 1985 and in 2013 he married his Spanish girlfriend Christel Castano. Speaking of trophies, Pablo Zabaleta has won two Premier League titles with Manchester City (2011/2012, 2013/2014), while lifting the FA Cup trophy in the 2010/2011 season. In 2008 Zabaleta won the Olympic Gold Medal with Argentina, but he has yet to win a trophy at the major tournament with la Albiceleste. It has to be noted that he has a tattoo with the name of his mother on his chest as his mom died while he was at age 15.
Highlighted Team (Newcastle United):
Newcastle United failed to impress in the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign and, as a result, they dropped to the English second tier. The Magpies will host their rivals at their St. James’ Park in the 2016/2017 Championship campaign and it has to be noted that the capacity of the stadium is 52,354. Newcastle United have won four domestic trophies (1904/1905, 1906/1907, 1908/1909, 1926/1927), while lifting six FA Cup titles (1910, 1924, 1932, 1951, 1952, 1955) and a number of star players were part of the St. James’ Park outfit in the past. David Ginola, Michael Owen, Alan Shearer, Les Ferdinand, Nolberto Solano, Gary Speed, Obafemi Martins and Kevin Nolan are notable footballers who are still remembered at the club. Newcastle’s fiercest rivals are Sunderland and there have always been fireworks when the two local rivals face each other in the Tyne-Wear derby. The colour of Newcastle’s home kit is black and white.
