Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
After suffering a 3-0 loss to Barcelona in the opening match of the season, Deportivo Alaves played out a goalless draw with Real Betis in the Basque Country. Deportivo Alaves are eager to score their first goal of the season and there is every chance the hosts will adopt an attack-minded approach in Sunday’s football match. One of the men to watch in the home team will be former Athletic Club midfielder Ibai Gomez. Espanyol, on the other hand, shared the spoils with Celta Vigo in their first away game of the season and seeing that they were producing thrilling performances in pre-season, we predict the Catalans are going to share the spoils with Deportivo Alaves at RCDE Stadium. You should bear in mind that under 2.5 goals were scored in each of their previous eight meetings in all competitions.
