Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Deportivo Alaves and Levante, the two teams who sit in the top half of the La Liga table, take on each other at Estadio de Mendizorroza on day 23 of the 2018/2019 season. Los Babazorros suffered a dip in form, but they are still sitting in the Europa League berth in the La Liga standings. Alaves are eager to return to winning ways in the Spanish elite division and seeing that Levante are not regarded as good travelers, we are tempted to put our money on the home side. Los Levantinos experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 5-0 defeat to Sevilla at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling los Babazorros’ party in the Basque Country. In their last meeting in Vitoria the hosts emerged triumphant, with Laguardia scoring the winner in the stoppage time.
