Our football match prediction:
Deportivo Alaves did well to hold Eibar to a goalless draw in Sunday’s Basque derby. The newcomers extended their unbeaten run to three games in all competitions and they will be looking to return to winning ways in the Spanish top flight with a victory over Real Betis. Alaves produce much better performances on the road and you should bear in mind that they are on a four-game winless run at home in the league. Los Beticos, on the other hand, defeated Athletic Bilbao at their Estadio Benito Villamarin at the weekend and the Andalusians will be looking to build on the triumph when they square off against Alaves in Vitoria. Both teams are likely to adopt a cautious approach in Friday’s football game at Estadio de Mendizorroza and, taking everything into account, we predict that the two sides will share the spoils on Matchday 16. It has been ten years since Alaves and Betis last met in the Spanish elite division.
