Our football match prediction:
Despite failing to impress against Athletic Bilbao in Sunday’s football match Real Madrid eventually defeated the Basque outfit at their Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. Former Juventus striker Alvaro Morata scored a late winner for los Blancos and there is every chance he will be recalled to the starting line-up against Deportivo Alaves. Real Madrid need to keep on raising their form if they are to regain the La Liga trophy and, no doubt, Zinedine Zidane’s troops will take Saturday’s game against Deportivo Alaves very seriously. The newcomers suffered a dip in form and seeing that they head into the game following a heavy 3-0 loss to Real Sociedad, we predict that the league leaders will extend their winning run in the Spanish elite division to three matches. Cristiano Ronaldo has been struggling to find his goal-scoring touch of late, but the opposition defenders should have the Portuguese superstar at bay.
Highlighted Player (Fernando Pacheco):
Fernando Pacheco is a goalkeeper who plays for Deportivo Alaves in Primera Division. The 186-cm-tall shoot-stopper joined Real Madrid youth school at the age of 14 and it has to be noted that he made 41 appearances for Real Madrid B in Segunda Division. However, he failed to make his debut for the first team. On 7 August. 2015 Pacheco signed a three-year contract with Deportivo Alaves and that proved to be the best decision of his career. He made his debut for the club on 22 August, 2015 in a 3-2 victory at Huesca. The goalkeeper, who was born in Badajoz on 18 May, 1992, made 40 appearances for Alaves in the 2015/2016 Segunda Division campaign, conceding less than one goal per match. He missed one game with injury and he was rested in a 1-1 draw with Deportivo Tarragona on the last day of the season. Pacheco is a left-footed player and his contract with Deportivo Alaves expires on 30 June, 2018.
Highlighted Team (Real Madrid):
Real Madrid are a Spanish football club based in Madrid. Real Madrid participate in La Liga (Primera Division) and they have won 32 domestic titles. On the other hand, los Blancos have won 11 European Cup titles and that is the main reason why they are considered the biggest football club in the world. Real Madrid play their home matches at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and the capacity of the stadium is 84,454. Cristiano Ronaldo is the club’s most successful footballer in the 21st century and the Portuguese superstar has won two Golden Ball awards. The likes of Alfredo Di Stefano, Zinedine Zidane, Raul Gonzalez Blanco, David Beckham and Iker Casillas are star players who were part of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu outfit in the past. Real Madrid’s bitterest rivals are Barcelona, but the rivalry between local rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid is big as well. Real Madrid’s home kit is white and, as a result, the team’s nickname is los Blancos (the Whites).
