Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Buoyed by back-to-back wins over Real Madrid and Celta Vigo, Deportivo Alaves take on Villarreal at their Estadio de Mendizorroza on day 10 of the new La Liga campaign. Deportivo Alaves, believe it or not, sit in third place in the standings ahead of the visit of Villarreal and they are surely brimming with confidence. The Basque side are tough to beat at home and seeing that the Yellow Submarine made a very slow start to the season, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. Villarreal produced a fine display against Atletico Madrid at the weekend, but they eventually picked up only one point from the match. The Yellow Submarine are not regarded as good travelers, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered. In their last meeting in La Liga Deportivo Alaves emerged triumphant.
