Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Buoyed by a 2-1 win over Eibar, Huesca will be aiming to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they take on Athletic Club at San Mames Barria. The newcomers proved their worth in the opening match of the season, but they need to keep on improving their game if they are to secure yet another La Liga survival. The Lions, on the other hand, failed to impress in the Spanish top flight last term and, no doubt, they are eager to make amends for the unsuccessful campaign. The club chiefs did well to keep hold of key players in the summer transfer window, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Basque outfit. It has to be noted that the two sides meet for the first time ever in the Spanish elite division.

Highlighted Player (Iker Muniain):

Iker Muniain was once considered one of the most talented players in Spain, but he obviously failed to reach his full potential. Munian is an attacking midfielder, who is capable of playing as a forward as well and he began his youth career at Chantrea. In 2005 he made probably the best decision of his career as he joined Athletic Bilbao youth academy.
He made his debut for Athletic Bilbao on 30 July, 2009 in a 1-0 loss to Young Boys in the Europa League. Iker Munian impressed in the 2011/2012 La Liga campaign with the Lions, scoring nine goals in all competitions, but he failed to make a bigger progress. The Athletic Bilbao product has been struggling with injuries and it has to be noted that the injury he suffered against Sevilla on 4 April, 2015 could have ruined his career.
However, he returned to action on 20 December, but he was playing below expectations in the second half of the season. Iker Munian made his Spain debut on 29 February, 2012 in a friendly against Venezuela. La Roja won the match 5-0 and Munian came as a substitute in the 74th minute of the match.
Highlighted Team (Huesca):

Huesca are a Spanish club that compete in La Liga, the Spanish top flight. The club was originally founded in 1910, but in 1940 it was renamed Union Deportiva. In 1956 the club disappeared due to financial problems, but four years later Sociedad Deportiva Huesca was born. Huesca are well known for their blaugrana colors as their founding members were Barcelona fans.
The club welcome their rivals at El Alcoraz and it has to be noted that the capacity of the stadium is 5,500. Despite the fact that El Alcoraz can hold up to 5,500 people in December 2014 7,600 spectators watched the game between Huesca and Barcelona. Huesca will make their first ever appearance in Primera Division in the 2018/2019 season.
The likes of Leo Franco, Luis Sastre and Ruben Castro are some of the most notable footballers that played for Huesca. Real Zaragoza are considered Huesca’s main rivals, with the two teams facing each other in Derbi Aragones.
