Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Athletic Club and Villarreal square off against each other at San Mames Barria in what is expected to be a very entertaining game. The Lions shared the spoils with their rivals in previous three league fixtures, meaning that they are eager to return to winning ways. The Basque outfit did well to hold Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw in their last home fixture in the Spanish top flight, which is certainly giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of Wednesday’s football match. The Yellow Submarine, on the other hand, have been struggling in front of goal of late, with the team finding the net only once in previous four league games. Anyhow, a close encounter is on the horizon and we predict the two teams are going to play out a draw at San Mames Barria, just like they did last season.

Highlighted Player (Aritz Aduriz):

Aritz Aduriz is another Spanish footballer that can be placed in the late bloomers category, having played his best football after the age of 30. The cultured striker has spent his entire career in native Spain, and he was showing promise from the moment he first tasted senior football.
The Basque forward arrived at Athletic Bilbao via Aurrera and Bilbao Athletic, but the first spell at San Mames proved quite disappointing and he went on to kick-start his career at Real Valladolid. Aduriz later returned to Athletic Bilbao to score 22 goals in 82 league outings, and then represented Mallorca and Valencia before returning for the third spell. Little did he know that it would prove to be the most successful stint of his career, with the forward producing some amazing displays in La liga and Europa League, scoring over 95 goals in first four years upon rejoining los Leones.
That proved enough for the striker to end a six-year exile from the national team as Aduriz featured in March 2016 friendlies vs Italy and Romania, scoring on his return against the Azzurri to prove age should not matter when the quality is there.
Highlighted Team (Villarreal):

Villarreal CF was founded on 10th of March 1923. In the year 1998 Villarreal managed to reach the Primera Division for the first time in history of the club. After 1 season the club could not manage to stay in the league and go regulated to the Segunda Division. In the last couple of years Villarreal developed itself to a stable club in the Primera Division.
This first European succes was in 2003/2004 where the club managed to reach the semi finals in the UEFA cup. In 2004/2005 Villarreal end 3rd on the table in the Primera Division which was a highlight for the club.
The biggest succes was in 2006 when Villarreal managed to reach the semi finals in the Champions League. In the semi finals the club lost with only 1 goal difference against runner up Arsenal. Former known players for Villarreal are: Riquelme, Tomasson, Fernandez, Forlan and Pires.
