Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Estadio Wanda Metropolitano will host Saturday’s football game between Atletico Madrid and Deportivo Alaves. Atletico Madrid dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Girona and they will be looking to return to winning ways in La Liga when they take on Alaves on Matchday 15. Los Rojiblancos are determined to stay in the race for the title and we predict that they are going to leave their hearts on the field this time out. As always, all eyes will be on attacking duo Antoine Griezmann – Diego Costa when the two teams face each other in the Spanish capital. The Basques are enjoying a season to remember, they sit in fourth place in the standings, meaning that they should not be written off just yet. However, seeing that Atletico Madrid are desperate to melt Barcelona’s advantage in the La Liga standings, home win should be considered.

Highlighted Player (Jose Gimenez):

Jose Gimenez is a fast rising 21-year-old young Uruguayan defender who plays for Spanish club Atletico Madrid. Gimenez is primarily a central defender and is recognized to be a natural and fast defender who is classy on the ball. His qualities came to the fore during his youth team presence at Toledo but his professional debut was in 2012 for Danubio.
His stint at the club was short-lived as the highly rated defender was quickly snapped up by Atletico Madrid after raving reviews. He soon made his mark in Diego Simeone’s team and became a crowd favorite after scoring a vital header against rivals Real Madrid.
He participated in the FIFA U-20 World Cup reaching the finals with Uruguay. His senior team debut was in 2013 and has played 21 times for the national side. Gimenez also has three goals in international colors, the first of which came in 2014.
Highlighted Team (Alaves):

Alaves is a Spanish football club located in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Alava. The club were founded in 1921 and they play their home games at Estadio Mendizorrotza. The capacity of the stadium is 19,840 and it has to be noted that it is the third oldest stadium in Spanish football. After spending several years in the Spanish Segunda Division, los Babazorros returned to the top flight in 2016.
The color of Alaves’ home kit is blue and white and the club’s local rivals are fellow Basque sides Real Sociedad, Athletic Club, Osasuna and Eibar. Alaves made it to the UEFA CUP final in 2001, but they were beaten by Liverpool 5-4 in a thrilling football clash. Anyhow, that is still regarded as the club’s biggest success. Los Babazorros booked their place in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals on four occasions and they have yet to win the Primera Division trophy.
